Singer Travis Reilly had previously fronted Scraps and Heart Attacks, while guitar player Joe Osolin, bassist Jeff Tiu, and drummer Dan Bourke had been deuce-ace living living quarters of the Backup Plan. The chemical group accomplished its original lineup with indorsement guitar player Rick Jimenez, a ex-serviceman of several Long Island bands, and more or less incongruously took their nominate from an Elvis Costello song. This Is Hell's self-released demonstration was democratic enough to be reissued in 2004 as a 7" EP on the Run for Cover label. The six-track This Is Hell EP followed in 2005. As the Backup Plan returned to active duty, Tiu and Osolin left This Is Hell to digest on their primary cast; Tiu was replaced by bassist Johnny Moore, humankind Health Organization as easily plays with Jimenez in Sentence, and Osolin by Reilly's previous Scraps and Heart Attacks bandmate Chris Reynolds. Concurrent with these changes, This Is Hell's debut full-length, Sundowning, was released by Trustkill Records in the springiness of 2006. |

Update: Bouncer Confesses To Killing Woman At Lil Kim's Party With Metal Pipe
A bouncer for New York's Spotlight Live has confessed to killing a woman at the club during Lil Kim's birthday party on Sunday (August 3).
As reported earlier, 24-year-old Ingrid Rivera's body was found in a utiltity closet on the roof of Spotlight Live yesterday (August 6).
Rivera had attended the rapper's party on Sunday and was reported missing Tuesday (August 5).
According to The New York Times, Sayed Rahman, a bouncer at Spotlight Live, confessed to police today (August 7) that he hit Rivera at the back of the head with a metal pipe.
Rahman, 24, said he attacked Rivera because she refused his sexual advances.
Rahman has been charged with second degree murder and is facing life in prison house if convicted.� He has worked at the club for four years and had no criminal record.
Reps for Lil Kim have said that the rapper did not know Rivera and was unaware of the incident before it surfaced via the news program.

Rbd Split Was A Group Decision
LATEST: Latino pop supergroup RBD took the conclusion to split last workweek (ends15Aug08) after a band meeting.
The man behind the band, Pedro Damian, has confirmed RBD will record their last albums in 2009, before breaking up.
And he insists there ar no sorry feelings 'tween bandmates; they all just need a break earlier embarking on solo careers.
Damian says, "This is a decision the group made together, so that they could proceed to evolve (as individuals). It wasn't forced by me or any of the higher-ups, or anything like that.
"A new magnetic disc, called Greatest Hits of RBD, will be released this year with 15 of their most popular songs, and later they'll record a new album that's slated for an early 2009 release. We also want to make a film, but we'll see how that pans out with the turn and saying goodbye to their fans."
RBD exploded onto the pop scene in 2004 and they sustain sold more than 11 million records.

Lennox, Winehouse to sing at Mandela birthday gig
LONDON (Reuters) - Queen, Annie Lennox, Simple Minds, Amy Winehouse and some of Africa's top singers are among the stars expected to perform before Nelson Mandela and nearly 50,000 fans at a London concert on Friday.
The tribute to the elder statesman as he approaches his 90th birthday coincides with a disputed election in Zimbabwe, and the crisis in the southern African nation has overshadowed Mandela's visit to Britain.
The former South African president has been urged to speak out against Zimbabwe's leader Robert Mugabe, and four words of criticism in a speech at a dinner late on Wednesday -- "tragic failure of leadership" -- made headline news.
Mandela officially retired from politics nine years ago, but he is still a moral authority admired the world over.
Emmanuel Jal, a Sudanese hip-hop artist based in London who is also singing on Friday, said Mandela was "unique" among African leaders.
"He did not love power so much, and left it and gave it to someone else," he told Reuters.
Mugabe has pushed ahead with the vote despite international condemnation and a boycott by the opposition leader prompted by a wave of deadly attacks on his supporters.
Mandela will hope to be able to concentrate on the celebrations on Friday evening, when 46,664 people will join him for a charity concert to raise funds for his HIV/AIDS organization 46664 named after his prison number.
The event, in London's Hyde Park, comes 20 years after a tribute gig at Wembley Stadium to honor Mandela when he was still behind bars for his stand against apartheid.

Dirty Pretty Things, Ne-Yo, Zutons Added To T4 On The Beach
Dirty Pretty Things, Kelly Rowland and Ne-Yo will all be playing at this year's T4 On The Beach, Angry Ape has learned.
Also newly added to the line-up for the televised beach event are The Zutons, Black Kids, One Night Only and 5 O'Clock Heroes - who will be performing with supermodel Agyness Deyn.
T4 On The Beach is held at Weston-super-Mare in Somerset on July 20th.
Other names that were previously confirmed include Guillemots, Duffy, The Ting Tings and Robyn.
